My work is about what it means to be a human in the context of the endless Universe as well as our everyday experience. There is a dichotomy of living within the binding “grid” of the routine and societal norms while yearning for freedom and mystery.

In the series of work titled “Space Pussy: Enter the Universe” a symbolic representation of a vagina appears as a “portal” within a grid and stands for the ultimate escape from the mundane. This is an invitation to cross over and dive into the unknown, to go beyond the binding grid of the routine, beyond fear, beyond the sky – into the infinite Universe.
